There is a rumer currently going round that Darren Miller is to die on his stag do. Having searched the internet I can find nothing to back up this rumer. If anyone else has heard or read about this rumer please feel free to add your comments.

Ian Beale will reportedly claim that his wife is dead, in a bid to win the affections of a Walford newcomer. 


The Albert Square businessman has been married four times, with his most recent ex-wife Jane leaving after winning the café in their divorce. The plot saw actress Laurie Brett, who gave birth to a baby girl last month, exit on maternity leave. 


Ian (Adam Woodyatt) will realise that he can win women's sympathy with his story, after deciding to "get back on the horse" and begin dating again, the Daily Star claims. 


Newcomer Cheryl, played by actress Heather Craney, is the first woman Ian puts his scheme into action on.


"Ian will do anything," a source told the paper. "He's pathetic. But his lie will catch up with him."


Woodyatt previously stated that Ian was "devastated" to have lost Jane, but said that he would need to "start rebuilding his life on his own". - Jane return has not yet been revealed. but she expected to make a comeback.

Charlie Brooks: Janine's "vulnerable side"

Lydia is set to die in next mondays episode -

The loss of Lydia is made all the more difficult for Janine because it comes just after they strengthen their bond in an emotional heart-to-heart.

"Janine had no idea how much she'd fall in love with her grandma. She recognises a lot of herself in Lydia and finally understands where she gets a lot of her traits," Brooks told Inside Soap.

"It's nice to see the more vulnerable side of Janine and explore why she's turned out the way that she has."

Shortly before she dies, Lydia surprises Janine by revealing that she wanted to move her in after her mother June died, but Frank and Pat were against the idea. 

"Having got to know her gran, Janine regrets not getting in touch with Lydia sooner," Brooks added. "She didn't realise Lydia cared - she thought she was just another family member who'd neglected her. Janine feels tremendously sad."

Viewers will later see Janine face police questioning over Lydia's death after her estranged husband Ryan Malloy starts to suspect that she could be responsible and reports her.

Iv Been speaking to some people on what they think on the news that Lydia is going to be killed off...

"what was the point of bringing her in when they said when they had to recast her that they had big plans for her just to kill her off months after bringing her in what a waste of a great character"

"This is such a shame if true, this could of been a really good long term story which would of given Janine a whole new dymanic. If its because of the change of actress i dont understand why they couldnt of kept Lydia off screen longer until they found a more suitable actress to take on the role."
