It has been revealed that Amira (Preeya Kalidas) will make a dramatic return to Eastenders in October with a baby girl. She found out she was pregnant just before fleeing the square heartbroken with her father after learning that her husband Syed Masood (Marc Elliott) was gay and had been having an affair with their friend Christian Clarke (John Partridge).
It has also been confirmed that scenes were filmed last week for special BBC red button episodes to be screen early September which will reveal that Amira has been kept prisoner in her £2million home by her strict father Qadim (Ramon Tikaram).
It does all sound very dramatic and gripping, and will surely keep Eastenders fans on the edge of their seats!
