Eddie Moon's business up in flames
David Essex's new 'EastEnders' character Eddie Moon is to see his antiques business go up in flames in his first major storyline.
The new arrival in Albert Square is to be the victim of a dramatic arson attack, the perpetrator being a mystery enemy.
Eddie is convinced that it is son Michael who is responsible, as he blames Essex's character for his mother's suicide.

“This is a really dramatic plot for David. He can really get his teeth into it. Despite being an Albert Square regular for only a few weeks, he has already started to establish himself as one of the most popular characters in the show,” said a show source.
“Eddie will be seen celebrating with his boys when suddenly he sees his stock go up in flames.” [The Sun]
